Christian Albright and Christian Magby have been working together creatively for over ten years, elevating themselves as accomplished songwriters in theatre.

Albright and Magby wrote the score for the world premiere musical adaptation of Milo Imagines the World (2024/25), co-produced by Chicago Children’s Theatre (CCT), Children’s Theatre Company (CTC), and the Rose Theatre. It’s rolling premiere began at CCT in October 2024, and at CTC in February 2025 and concluded at the Rose in April 2025. Milo will also premiere at the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre in June 2025.

Their song, “Another Sunday,” from Milo Imagines the World, was an official selectee for the 2025 TYA/USA National Festival & Conference Song Slam Cabaret.

Their previous projects include the musical adaptation, The Incredible Book Eating Boy (2022) [Music & Lyrics] and Into the Burrow (2023) [Song Credit], a musical adaptation of the story Peter Rabbit, both at the Alliance Theatre.

Their first original musical Mother of God premiered in 2022 at the Southwest Performing arts Center.

Albright and Magby are recipients of the 2025 Aurand Harris Individual Fellowship, honored by The Children’s Theatre Foundation of America (CTFA).
