CHRISTIAN ALBRIGHT
New York bread artist, Christian Albright is a playwright, songwriter and voice actor in Atlanta. Albright moved to Atlanta, GA in his late teens where he became a performer for the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (YEA). There he developed his performance skills and would eventually write skits and teach the newly inducted youth in the program. Albright briefly studied theatre at Oglethorpe University, where he did perform in the university plays & musicals.
Lyrical credits include: The Great Ant Sleepover, Milo Imagines the World, The Incredible Book Eating Boy, Into the Burrow [Song Credit] and Mother of God.
As a voice actor, he most recently performed as Narrator for the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra’s production of Lincoln Portrait by world renowned composer Aaron Copeland, cementing his name next to previous performers Phylicia Rashad and Henry Fonda.
Acting credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Oberon), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Judge Turpin), and Tartuffe (Cléante) at Oglethorpe University. Macbeth (Fleance) in Georgia Shakespeare Festivals production.
CHRISTIAN MAGBY
Christian Magby is an actor and composer, who is currently staring in the North American Tour of the groundbreaking musical Hamilton as ‘Lafayette/Jefferson.’ He previously starred opposite Raul Esparza in the world premiere of the rock musical, “Galileo” at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. The show was written by Danny Strong and directed by Michael Mayer. He had a supporting role in the Oscar nominated, Amazon feature, “One Night in Miami,” directed by Regina King, starring opposite Leslie Odom Jr., Aldis Hodge and Lance Reddick. He was a recurring guest star for two seasons on The CW’s hit series, “The Flash,” and he also recurred on The CW series, “Legacies.”
Born in Atlanta, he started his acting career with the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta. At the age of sixteen, he wrote his first musical, “Love DOES Cost a Thing,” which premiered at 7 Stages Theatre and since then, has written and composed several musicals. Magby composed the music for The Great Ant Sleepover, Milo Imagines the World, The Incredible Book Eating Boy, Into the Burrow [Song Credit] and Mother of God.
Magby has worked as an actor and music director in a number of Atlanta theatres, including Alliance Theatre, Aurora Theatre, Horizon Theatre Company, Theatrical Outfit, and Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company.
He is a graduate of SCAD and was commissioned to arrange the school’s alma mater.
